Regrettably now back in Melbourne, after the really wonderful five days in
NZ, of which my time with you was the highlight.
It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day under your guidance, and you can expect
to see me in Taupo again. I'll be recommending your skill and knowledge
to friends here in Aus, and have no doubt you'll put them in the same
satisfied frame of mind as I'm presently enjoying (if on my last day on leave).

The other night, I went through the various guides I have fished with over
the last 10 years, and could think of nearly 50!!!The ones I really
enjoyed had some common traits. Not too demanding, gently suggestive,
entertained my strategies, improved my techniques, genuine in their
encouragement, provided good company and were fun to fish WITH. You scored
tops in all categories. A couple of things were extraordinary - Briggs, of
course, and the fact you asked for and we discussed, the high points of
the day.
